Behavioral Health Technician
Position Summary
We are looking for motivated individuals to provide direct support to our clients and the clinical/medical teams at our facility.
Responsibilities
Monitoring our patients and their well-being throughout the day.
Monitor, educate and assist the clients in performance of daily living skills, activities, and the daily process in accordance with the goals and problem areas identified on the individual treatment plan.
Intelligently address client conflicts and crisis management issues as they arise.
Electronically document situations when appropriate.
Carry out responsibilities pertaining to the efficient and therapeutic operation of the facility, including safety management, emergency procedures and non-violent crisis intervention.
Maintain a high level of ethical conduct and behavior with patients.
Assist with the intake process and conduct searches of patients and their belongings upon arrival.
Safely transport patients to and from their living environment and any scheduled appointments.
Assist with inventory of general maintenance supplies and cleaning responsibilities.
Conduct room searches and regular urinalysis and breathalyzer drug testing.
Education, skills, and experience requirements
Experience and an understanding of Native American culture, values, and traditions.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
One year of experience in Substance Abuse Treatment, and or a strong professional reference attesting to a high degree of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism.
Must have completed first aid and CPR courses or be willing to do so upon hiring.
